Preview: 台灣新生代藝術家跨域表演華府登場

台灣新生代中提琴家及二胡演奏家林維洋、鋼琴家陳孜怡、作曲家兼鋼琴家楊嵐茵、IC Movement Project現代舞團及藝術總監兼創始人舞蹈家周拮如(Ivy Chow)，將於本(2019)年4月13日(星期六)及4月14日(星期日)晚間8時，連續兩晚在華府「史翠摩爾實驗劇場｣(Studio Theater at Strathmore Music Center)進行全新舞碼跨域演出。演出主題為「聯盟-結作伙Alliance｣，藉由舞蹈與音樂的跨界演出，傳遞出台灣新一代藝術家所充滿的活力與創意，及以大聯盟的實力，組織成小聯盟，一同闖蕩美國樂壇及舞界的核心精神。演出曲目包括威廉鮑爾科姆《伊甸園》、蕭泰然《來自福爾摩莎的天使》、鄧麗君的華語流行歌曲《恰似你的溫柔》、《空港》、莫札特《雙鋼琴複協奏曲》及楊嵐茵創作的《十二星座組曲》與《舞夢》，歡迎各界人士前往聆賞。

台灣新生代鋼琴家楊嵐茵、陳孜怡將於26日(周二)中午12時，在華府市中心主顯教堂(Church of Epiphany)舉辦免費的雙鋼琴音樂會。楊嵐茵與陳孜怡透過對鋼琴重奏曲的共同熱愛，對音樂的深層理解，攜手創立「文藝復興雙鋼琴」（Renaissance Duo），追求雙鋼琴演奏藝術境界的高級境界，跨越文化界限探索不同曲目，期盼與觀眾建立密切聯繫。楊嵐茵、陳孜怡雙鋼琴音樂會將演奏莫札特雙鋼琴複協奏曲、布拉姆斯F小調雙鋼琴奏鳴曲與波爾肯的伊甸園組曲。

Come join the musical journey with acclaimed Taiwanese pianist Tzu-yi Chen in her 2018 fall recital as she pays tribe to iconic works by greatest classical composers during wartime. Inspired by music’s power to overcome difficulties in troubled times over the centuries, the musician hopes to take classical music fans to reflect on the pursuit of peace and harmony through music in conflict-ridden modern society.
來自台灣的青年鋼琴家陳孜怡8月26日(星期日)下午4時將美國國家大教堂演出。此次獨奏會曲目以古典派作曲家在社會巨變前的創作為主軸，選彈法國革命時期之貝多芬、一次大戰前之拉威爾、俄羅斯革命前之柴可夫斯基和二次大戰間之普羅科菲耶夫代表作品，向「衝突中創造和諧」的古典大師們致敬。
During her February this year "228 Memorial Concert" at Taiwanese Presbyterian Church in D.C., the notes of the Firebird Suite circled at the fingertips with pianist Tzu-yi Chen’s virtuoso touch, just like the plot described by the Russian composer Stravinsky. A full-house audience at Washington, D.C.’s Taiwanese Presbyterian Church completely followed the composer’s storyline. Their heartbeats were dancing with the wizard and got lost with the melody of the beautiful lullaby. Until the last chord ended with the bright glissando flying like the firebird to the sky, the whole audience was astonished with a few seconds silence, and rejoiced with thunderous applause.
休士頓台灣松年學院為慶祝成立15周年，將在5月5日（周六）晚7時30分，舉行慈善募款音樂會「新聲亞韻」，地點在休士頓浸信大學Belin Chapel，7502 Fondren Road, Houston, Texas 77074，歡迎前往聆賞。
音樂會邀請紐約優秀亞裔音樂家所組成的「新亞」室內樂協會New Asia Chamber Music Society，以及指揮家詹硯文領銜的松年學院合唱團，黃詩婷擔任鋼琴伴奏演出。
今晚我們用充滿喜悅與感恩的心情，用這場「琴聲繪影」音樂會來慶祝松年學院邁入第十五年的里程碑，在此特別感謝許多義工幫助籌劃、安排，以及菁英藝術家三重奏、合唱指導詹硯文老師、與黃詩婷博士的規劃使這場音樂會成真，我們也感謝休士頓本地的音樂家們對今晚演出的貢獻，您們對松年學院寶貴的付出，在此致上真誠的謝意。
二二八事件屆滿71周年，大華府台僑社團今年擴大舉辦紀念活動，駐美代表高碩泰25日下午全程參加開場活動「愛篇：二二八紀念音樂會及文史特展」，他說，二二八事件如今已是不同的時空，不再以悲情的角度看待，「一方面讓全民來反思、緬懷這個悲劇的日子，但一方面也要往上，讓台灣朝向更和平公義的願景。」
難得有一場古典音樂會，滿座的會場絕大多數是年輕人不是銀髮族。立基台灣、歐洲養成的青年鋼琴家陳孜怡，上周末首次在北維以一場獨奏會回饋，無論是鋼琴經典曲目法蘭克的前奏曲/聖詠與賦格、貝多芬在近全聾的人生谷底譜寫出的奏鳴曲，或是史特拉汶斯基膾炙人口的「火鳥」，陳孜怡在一個多小時的演奏會中，讓全場聽眾們感受古典鋼琴世界的多彩與炫麗。
Earlier this decade, A Little Lunch Music featured my friend Tzu-yi Chen once or twice yearly for a few years. She's now based in DC teaching and touring internationally. She's amazing .....
Violinist Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu enjoys a versatile international career as an orchestral soloist, a recitalist and a chamber musician. She has been featured with the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in her native country, as well as with such European orchestras as the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra and the Russian State Symphony Orchestra.
陳孜怡彈琴彈到瑰麗處，琴聲澎湃，氣勢磅礡，雙手飛快地在琴鍵上跳躍，那情景頗令人動容。曾獲德國最高演奏文憑的她說，十餘歲時，她就清楚知道自己要走音樂路。因為她喜歡那種靈魂完全融入樂曲的感動。那種感動會讓音樂帶著她的雙手在琴鍵上自然滑動，將情感發揮得淋漓盡致。
Pianist Tzu-Yi Chen studied in Europe, following the path of the masters whose compositions she played Monday night, before graduating from the Columbus State University Schwob School of Music. The performance opened with a selection from Joaquin Turina's opus 67, Tzu-Yi's intense interpretation reflecting the Spanish composer's passion for regional folk music in the first half of the 20th century.
A magnificent recital took place on October 11 by Taipei-born pianist Tzu-Yi Chen. I am going to have to discipline myself not to use every superlative in the first paragraph. Suffice it to say that, in a wide-ranging program, she displayed not only the usual technical command one expects, but beautiful tone, total artistic involvement, deep feeling, stylistic understanding, and in an era of cookie-cutter musicians, the feeling of spontaneity, even risk, that makes an evening truly memorable, often electrifying.
